In 2020 I followed my dream to report internationally. I returned to Mexico City, where I first studied Spanish a decade ago, and now report on the impacts of climate change and migration. I’m an award winning journalist who feels strongly about working in under-reported areas and discovering fresh perspectives, specifically those of women. Previously, I’ve worked as a reporter for NPR membership stations in Colorado, Ohio, and Missouri. I’m bilingual and of all the mediums I prefer working with audio. I was once an internet celebrity after my photoshop experiment went viral. I hope I never have to live through that again.
