We thought you’d be interested to hear of the opportunity to join Michel Nischan, renowned chef and leader in the sustainable food movement, as well as a three-time James Beard Foundation Award winner, along with the FERN team for a reception followed by an exclusive dinner to benefit the Food & Environment Reporting Network.

The event will take place at Haven’s Kitchen in New York City on the evening of Monday, October 19, 2015. The dinner will be an unforgettable, intimate multi-course meal conceived and prepared by Camille Becerra, Top Chef personality and executive chef of Manhattan’s Navy restaurant.

Also joining the conversation will be FERN writers Elizabeth Royte and Jocelyn Zuckerman. Jocelyn just published a startling exposé for us with our publication partner Huffington Post on World Bank involvement in the displacement of local populations and deforestation in Indonesia caused by the palm oil industry.
