Ian T. Shearn spent 30 years in the newspaper business. His last stop was at The Star-Ledger in Newark, NJ, where, as both editor and reporter, he produced several award-winning investigative pieces, and was part of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2005. He now runs a consulting business, The Gumption Group, in New Jersey and is a freelance journalist.Our Mission
