The Frontline Program to assist Democrats in competitive House districts includes one-third of the Democrats on the House Agriculture Committee. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced the first 14 members of the program for the 216 election, and six of them are on the Agriculture Committee – Ann Kuster of New Hampshire, Rick Nolan of Minnesota, Cheri Bustos of Illlinois, Sean Maloney of New York state, Pete Aguilar of California, and Gwen Graham of Florida. There are 19 Democrats on the committee.
“You don’t add by subtracting, so the success of our members is integral to our plant to stay on the offensive in 2016” said DCCC chairman Ben Lujan. To take control of the House, Democrats must gain 30 seats, says Roll Call.
