High food inflation worldwide: Food prices are 3.9 percent higher than a year ago in the industrialized world, said the OECD, and eight of 37 nations monitored had a food inflation rate higher than the 4.6 percent of the United States, led by Turkey with a rate of 13.5 percent.

Again the ‘big three’ in cotton: Despite the pandemic and trade dispute, three countries retain their top positions in the cotton globally in the 2020/21 trade year.
