Cleaner planes: A new Federal Aviation Administration rule will require large aircraft manufactured after Jan. 1, 2028, to incorporate improved fuel-efficiency technology, a rule FAA administrator Mike Whitaker says will allow the agency to “reach our goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.” (FAA)
