Ten ag panelists on list of vulnerable House Democrats

The campaign committee for House Democrats lists 10 members of the House Agriculture Committee among 29 “Frontline Democrats” in a fundraising appeal. “We must defend all 29 vulnerable Democrats running for re-election” if the party is to win a House majority in the Nov. 5 general election, said the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Agriculture Committee members on the list were Reps. Yadira Caraveo of Colorado, Jahana Hayes of Connecticut, Nikki Budzinski and Eric Sorensen of Illinois, Sharice Davids of Kansas, Angie Craig of Minnesota, Andrea Salinas of Oregon, Don Davis of North Carolina, Gabe Vazquez of New Mexico, and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington State.

A handful of Republicans on the committee also face tough races, according to Sabato’s Crystal Ball, a political handicapper. They were Reps. John Duarte of California, Don Bacon of Nebraska, Mark Molinaro of New York State, Lori Chavez-DeRemer of Oregon, and Zach Nunn of Iowa.

There are 29 Republicans and 25 Democrats on the Agriculture Committee.
